Who we are

My9Games.app is operated by Shengjin Digital LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, make a game collage, use an available sharing feature, or contact us. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@my9games.app.

Making a collage

You can make a collage without creating an account. You choose game titles, their order, cover images, and an optional nickname or social handle. We do not require your real name. Entering a handle does not connect or authenticate your social media account.

The editor keeps your draft in your browser's local storage so you can return to it on the same browser. This includes your selections, nickname, and cover references. Your collage image is generated in the browser. Downloading a collage does not by itself create a hosted public page.

Browser storage is not a backup service. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see your draft. Clearing site data, using private browsing, or browser storage limits can remove it.

Creating and sharing a link

Where a hosted sharing feature is available, choosing to create a share link sends the collage information and generated image to our server so we can store and display the shared work. The information can include your selected games and their order, cover references, nickname or handle, creation time, and a share identifier.

Anyone who obtains the link can view the shared work and save or forward its image. A hard-to-guess address is not an access control. Shared works may also appear in social previews or third-party caches. Avoid including private contact details, sensitive information, or information about another person without permission.

Editing or clearing your local draft does not change or delete an already shared work. The browser that created a share stores a private deletion credential and can use the "Delete shared card" control. Clearing site data can remove this credential and your ability to use that control. Keep the credential private. If you lose access, contact us with the work's URL; we may ask for information reasonably needed to establish your connection to it. We cannot remove copies that other people have downloaded or posted on services we do not control.

Requests, search, and correspondence

Visiting the site sends technical information to our hosting infrastructure, including your IP address, requested address, time of request, and browser or device information. Diagnostic records may include response status, errors, and information needed to investigate abuse. We use this information to deliver pages, maintain reliability, and protect the service.

Game searches are sent through our server to IGDB when the search service is available. Cover identifiers are sent through our server to retrieve images. Twitch provides the server authentication used for IGDB access; you do not sign in to Twitch to use our search. We cache game metadata to support search and shared works. Do not enter personal or sensitive information in game searches.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site and improve its layout and features. Clarity collects page views and interaction data, such as clicks and scrolling, and can provide heatmaps and session recordings. Microsoft processes this usage data for us. We have disabled Clarity cookies in the project settings, so visits are not linked into a continuous journey using Clarity cookies. Text entered in input fields is masked by Clarity. Avoid putting private information in a nickname or shared card, where it may be displayed outside an input field. If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, handle privacy or rights requests, and resolve service issues. Please send only what is needed for your request.

Purposes and legal grounds

We process information to provide the functions you request, deliver and secure the website, answer correspondence, investigate misuse and rights complaints, and meet legal obligations. We do not acquire ownership of your personal information or your original content.

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement for requested service functions, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service and responding to requests where those interests do not override your rights, and compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is required, it must be obtained for the relevant processing; accepting service terms or visiting a page is not a substitute for that consent.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Cloudflare to host and deliver the site and support its security. Hosted share records are stored in Cloudflare D1 and generated share images in Cloudflare R2. Records include a hash of the deletion credential and a content hash to verify deletion requests and avoid duplicate submissions. Rate limiting uses a hash derived from request information, including the IP address, action, and time window. Cloudflare's own practices are described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Information may be handled by providers needed to host a shared work, deliver requested game information, or manage email correspondence. They receive information relevant to the service they provide. We may also disclose information when legally required, to respond to a valid legal process, or as reasonably necessary to investigate misuse and protect people's rights and safety, subject to applicable law.

Following a link or choosing a social sharing button takes you to a separate service. That service handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. A sharing button prepares content for you; you decide whether to publish it there.

Storage, retention, and security

Local drafts remain on your device until replaced, cleared by you, or removed by your browser. Downloaded images remain wherever you save them.

Hosted shared works are retained to make their links usable until removed under our service rules or in response to an applicable request. Deleting a shared card disables its public page and image access, and we attempt to remove its hosted image. If storage cleanup fails, the image can remain in non-public storage until it is cleared. The underlying database record, including the nickname and game selections, is marked deleted rather than immediately erased; contact us if you also want to request erasure of retained personal information. We do not promise permanent hosting. Support correspondence and operational records are retained for the time needed for the relevant request, security investigation, legal obligation, or dispute, then deleted or de-identified. Residual copies can remain in restricted backups until their normal replacement cycle.

Our providers may process information outside your country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those safeguards must be in place. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Public sharing is intended to disclose the content you choose to share.

Your choices and rights

You can leave the nickname blank, avoid creating a hosted link, remove local drafts through your browser's site-data controls, and contact us about information we hold. See our Cookie and Local Storage Policy for browser storage controls.

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data protection authority. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.

Send requests to support@my9games.app. We will seek only proportionate information to verify a request and respond within the period required by applicable law. You do not need an account to contact us.

Children and policy updates

Do not include a child's private information in a publicly shared collage. A parent or guardian who believes that we hold a child's personal information can contact us to request review and, where appropriate, removal. We will handle children's information as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the revision. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain any consent required before applying the relevant change.
